Most people call a PR firm three weeks before they open. By then the monthly magazines have closed their issues and the best coverage window is gone.
Four to six months out: the long-lead pitch.
Monthly magazines work months ahead. If you want to be in the issue that lands the week you open, the conversation happens before the drywall does.
Eight weeks out: the announcement.
The coming-soon story. Who you are, what it is, why here. This is the piece that gets picked up and repeated by everyone else.
Two weeks out: the preview.
A small, quiet walkthrough for the handful of people whose coverage actually moves traffic. Not a party. A working preview.
Opening week: the room.
Media, civic leadership, community partners and the people this city listens to, in your space, on the record. We handle the list and the invitations.
Month two through six: the part everyone skips.
The opening coverage fades fast. We build the second and third story so you are still in the conversation when the novelty is gone.
